Should High School Players be Eligible for the N.B.A Draft?

Should high school players be eligible for the N.B.A draft? There are many levels for basketball leg , select, school ball, and N.B.A, which each level has a certain age for each level of basketball. Which got the N.B.A owners have been maybe considering to make a rule about an age to be eligible for the N.B.A teams. Considering that many high school players come to the N.B.A to make their dreams come true, or get shattered by not being skilled enough. Over the years they seen great basketball superstars be born, beginning under the age of 19, LeBron James, Dwight Howard, and Amar’e Stoudemire. Wondering if we make a rule that states no one under the age of 19, and a year out of collage is not eligible for the N.B.A draft?                                                                                                                                                                               In other words, after word got out about the decision the N.B.A might consider, there has been major reports, about people thinking that the N.B.A should consider making the rule: You must be 19 years of age and a year out of collage to be eligible for the N.B.A draft. Stating real live facts from ESPN news reporters about a high school player under the age of 19 making it into the N.B.A,  getting all the fame but sometimes then goes all to their head thinking they can do anything and get away with it. Shows to some people that 19 years of age and one year out of collage would make sure the player acts more maturely and takes their job responsible.  Some people opinions thoughts that they learned from past years N.B.A superstar begin little then grow up to be great athletes, and with the more responsibility they will have to take on will make them more mature as they get older, and make them better players.                                                                                                                                                                                                            Dreams start big for some people. When people ask them at the age of 6 what do they want to be when they growup. At age 10 they ask again we tell them a doctor, superhero, or vet. But know that were in high school they want a serious answer. High school is where you start to find what you want to do with your life. Sometimes it’s because, you got a scholarship to some place from sports or school. Every kid’s that plays sports in high school want a scholarship to a school. It makes them feel that they could do good for the school and that they feel they have enough skill to get a scholarship. That’s why people think that having the N.B.A not make the rule of you have to be 19 years of age and one year out of collage. Sports are how some people make a leaving. Some super sport star start as early as the age in high school. For example, LeBron James tried out for the N.B.A drafts and got drafted because, he was skilled enough and they though he would be a promising player.
Should a High School Players be Eligible for the N.B.A Draft? Many people have told that if you make that the newly law for basketball, who knows what it could do to the sport program. Others have said, that since from reports of years that young players that just come out of high school aren’t always to be picked, or that they get drafted and they think that fame is the way to get out of anything even if, you break the law. My though about the topic if high schools should be eligible for the N.B.A drafts is, that they stick to the law if could affect the program and not many people tryout or if they don’t make is a law they could see what players they might encounter in a year or so. Should a high school player be eligible for the N.B.A drafts? That is a question the kids they say are the future depend on our actions to decide that.

Ponyboy Curtis of S. E. Hinton’s The Outsiders

To begin with, Ponyboy is the youngest of the Greaser "in their so called gang." The novel The Outsiders, describes Ponyboy as a little brother pet to everyone, who needs to have someone around. He is about 14 years old, but has already discovered the reactions to human lost. PonyBoy had lost his parents in a tragic accident, ever since that, the gang is his only family, besides his older brothers Darell and Sodapop. Why did I pick this character, that I don't really know myself? In my opinion why I did, Ponyboy has gone through much at a young age and has had to struggle through challenges with his brothers. He grows in responsibility as he faces these challenges through the death of friends, Dallas and Johnny and a girl named Cherry.

Likewise at the beginning of the story, Ponyboy is very good at school however just doesn’t know how to use that knowledge with common sense. Ponyboy might seem like a character that would dress nice for school, because people who dress nice think they are smart. That would be a whole other side of Ponyboy. His clothes are very simple- blue jeans, leather jacket, T-shirt, and tennis shoes. Greasers dress like that every day since they don't have much of anything.

Equally important, Ponyboy has changed more since the begging of the story. How? He saw his best friend die right in front of his eyes, realizing he can't run from troubles and that he will always be in his heart, that Ponyboy read in note, Johnny wrote to him in his favorite book. After, Ponyboy read this emotional, true feelings and poetry letter from Jonny, this changed him inside. Ponyboy learned to never stop praying and always hope, and lastly never use anger as the answer to anything.

Finally, Ponyboy has seen lost and death in front of his eyes. Near the end of the novel Ponyboy seems to use his head more than anything. In addition, he is starting to think that violence is not the way to solve anything in the world. I think that this change in thinking shows growth in Ponyboy. Why, probably because, he has learned many valuable things along the way even if it meant learning it the hard ways. He had tough life lessons.

Furthermore, after the book has ended with them realizing everything that should stop and start, I predicts that they will try to get everyone else to see what he sees. What I have learned from reading the book and the character I chose, is that anger will never resolve anything in the world. In other words, it is better to learn that death might be hard but never lose faith that they are gone. You might not be able to see them but always somewhere in your heart they live.
